Hi guys, I have used a few quiet moments to completely rewrite the firmware upload guide. I recommend that all of you users download and study the new guide and follow its instructions when updating your nanoKeyer firmware or programming your freshly built nanoKeyer for the first time.
The new guide is based on the V2.x revisions of the K3NG firmware code, that is running on the nanoKeyer hardware.
The nice thing is that Goody, K3NG, has improved these new versions to allow for predefined hardware profiles and some default nanoKeyer profiles are provided already with the default source code download from his site.
For this reason I have now decided to discontinue offering the predefied source code packages here on this site and link it as a direct download from the K3NG stable master brach on GitHub – it is as easy as 1-2-3.
If you may encounter any difficulties please follow carefully the newly rewritten firmware upload guide.
The advantage of this new new firmware is that it will also compile well on all newer IDE versions, such as 1.5 and 1.6 and the resulting compiled code is even slightly smaller allowing for more keyer functions to be compiled at the same time.
